Education is a serious investment into the future. But many people nowadays collide with the problem: while they are studying in the university, they lose some professional skills and have to interrupt the career. Especially this problem refers to the IT specialists. They have to make the serious decision and to arrange correct their career path. They have the choice: to study in the technical university or to begin the education in the community college. As contrast to the universities, the colleges provide the opportunity to improve and constantly develop the professional skills with the help of practical work. The money can provide the receiving of the theoretical knowledge, but the practical skills come only with the life experience. But the thing is that the certificates of the universities and colleges have the different value on the labor market and the different recognition.

The majority of the IT specialists think that the knowledge and skills which are given in the university do not suit the demand of the contemporary labour market in this field. The educational institutions try to keep their curriculum in the correspondence with the demand, because the computer technologies develop very quickly and the direction of the studying must be changed. In the IT sphere this question is the most important.

But nevertheless the university degree in the IT field still has the higher value than the other certificates. Obtaining of the degree needs a lot of money, time and efforts. The four years studying needs about $22,000. The salary of the IT specialists rises also, but not so fast. And unfortunately there is no guarantee that the received degrees will correspondent the contemporary level of development of the computer technologies. In this case the best decision for the IT specialists is to obtain the online education. It allows to combine the studying with the current job and to improve both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills.
